Not sure at all. just keep me away zero stars.

This mailbox is only meant to look safe. Actually it's not safe. Sure, it's made of slightly thicker metal than a $50 mailbox at Home Depot, and the lock looks like it could stop someone with just a screwdriver. However, the best security features do not provide security. This should meet the criterion of actually keeping people off your mail. As it turns out my 7 year old daughter can just put her hand through the slot on top and pull out whatever she wants. No key required! She ate most of the biscuit box this way, delighting in the ease with which she managed to defeat the anti-theft box. There is nothing in the mailbox to prevent access to the interior of the mailbox when the top door is open. He simply relies on the criminals already being grown and hands too fat to reach. Of course, even the dumbest criminals can invent half a dozen ways to circumvent this mechanism, from mechanical handles, vacuum cleaner hoses to children of a certain age. This box. Of course, my previous mailbox was made of straw and only children were not allowed in. This one is stronger and will hold back inexperienced and indecisive adults. No one will keep them both away. If you're looking for a mailbox that actually deters theft, you need to look for a better design, not just heavier metal and better keys. Update: After owning this steel catastrophe for 3 months we found that the locking mechanism was not working. It takes about 5 minutes to turn the key to open it. One of the pins may be bent or rusted. Maybe I can't even open it today. All I know is that mailbox security features totally fail in their intended purpose of protecting our email, but appear to be absolutely effective in preventing this thing from being deleted. It's going to be damn bad if I can't open it. When evaluating this option, be sure to consider the cost of a locksmith.
