This stuff really works and is worth the money. We moved to a new house with a hot tub. Every time I lit it, something black came out of the injectors. I disassembled the nozzle and cleaned it inside and out. I've tried everything - bleach, dish soap, vinegar, everything I've read. Nothing worked. Every time black junk flies out. I really wanted to be able to use the bathroom so I gave it a try. The first round came out with lots of black material and a heavy brown foil. I emptied the tub, did a powder cascade, and then did another round of Oh Yuk. On the second round, a dirtier slimy substance came out of the nozzles, but it was clear, just slimy, and the film was a lighter shade of brown. I ran it for 30 minutes, drained the tub, and then ran the cascade and bleach for about 30 minutes. I haven't had any injectors come out yet. I only use Oh Yuk about once a month, whether or not I only use the bath to clean pipes. *Note: I took a small bottle to the hotel we were staying at to clean the jets before using the tub. If you ever want to enjoy a hotel hot tub again, just don't! Sometimes ignorance is happiness :)
