I bought this phone as the answer to the power outage mystery. If all else fails, use a landline. Of course I would still have to search for contacts on my phone to make a call, but first things first. Phone call. It's ok but all my other phones have had to be a tedious setup for this and if the phone is unplugged or there is a power outage it reverts to the ringtone to default and I have to start over. I usually wake up after a phone call. My only problem is that the lighting function does not work. When a call comes in (ringer on or off), the indicator should blink instead of blinking. It's not a deal breaker, but for that reason I might consider asking the seller for an exchange.
