Review on 🔧 Effortless Mold Making Kit: Marvelous Liquid Silicone Rubber (8lbs) by Kelsey Brown

I love this colour. And the viscosity is easy to work with. I've made several molds and all have failed, but I don't think the silicone is to blame. Pretty sure, anyway, because I think the items I was molding for were made out of a material that reacted with the silicone and stopped it from hardening properly. I was trying to make molds for 3D printed objects on a resin printer. I think 3D UV resin cannot be used to make molds. I bought a 3D printer for this. So I'm a bit frustrated but I think I can clean the coat and it might work. definitely. Whatever was left in the mixing cup and all the non-contact silicone fit perfectly and seems like a good semi-rigid silicone that can make great molds once I find the right mix of mold making materials. My only complaint is that the bottles that come in here have a very wide opening and can be poured out. It's really messy and it's impossible to cast any part without rubbing a glob of goo off the threads. Every other silicone I've had has had a much narrower neck allowing for more controlled pouring and I can usually just twist fill and have no sticky strings. I prefer that much more than these bottlenecks. Also, this seems like a great product and it comes at a very low price compared to many other offerings here. So that's a big part of why I got it. I recommend this to anyone trying to save money who also wants a really nice silicone.
