After much deliberation and consideration, I decided to purchase the tablet (about 4 months). At the end of the day, I decided to go with the Asus Nexus 7 rather than the Asus Memopad HD 7. I went for Memopad, and I don't really feel any regrets about my decision (especially since I've read that both models have the same issues; otherwise, why spend more money?!). There are certainly some drawbacks to consider. Take, for instance, the fact that the camera will occasionally slow down. But, there is a way out of this predicament. Go through the "energy saving" options if you're having trouble with your Wi-Fi connection (it keeps dropping out). I took the battery apart piece by piece. In the past, it would frequently be expelled. And after being utilized for a period of six months, it often began to fail. I hadn't considered using a different launcher until my brother suggested it. Helped. How, exactly! Due to the current level of usage, the battery only lasts between 1.5 and 2 days. Such an unexpected turn of events! I had a hard time controlling the camera. The shooting of people at any moment of the day is a living nightmare. Changing the settings on the camera did not solve the problem. Nonetheless, he shoots nature and architecture in high definition even when it's nighttime. The manual adjustment of the exposure helped, more or less, with the brightness of the shooting. Even though the screen is quite neat, it's not practical to view movies outside when the sun is out. And the fact that it becomes dirty very rapidly despite the availability of napkins specifically designed for use with LCD monitors and tablets. I have not experienced any of the other issues that have been discussed in a variety of sites, which is quite satisfying. In overall, I'm not overjoyed! And I have been having a hard time dealing with it for practically a whole year at this point.
