Edit: The company contacted me and offered a full refund. It's great to see a company stand behind their products and take their customer reviews seriously. Please read my review fully if you don't put it in the closet. The light works well, but the battery life sucks. I keep it in the kitchen under the cupboard so I don't have to blind my eyes at night. The motion sensor turns it off even when it's well lit (so it doesn't work as advertised), which drains the battery because the light always comes on when I'm in the kitchen. Overall I don't mind the purchase but I have to turn the kitchen on every 3 days or so which is a little annoying in my day but nothing agonizing. It's like an extra phone that I have to charge every few days, so not the biggest thing, but still a mild annoyance. This product works better in my bathroom for nighttime urination, but there's a problem here too: the light doesn't stay on long enough for a full pee and turns off mid-stream. the light wasn't on more than 10 seconds, so I find myself moving my head so I don't piss all over the place and wave my hand in front of the damn thing. All in all I got used to it in a week but I wouldn't use this product for anything other than cabinet lighting and if I had cabinet lighting I would prefer a switch. This product is not a total loss but will do better in low traffic areas.
