They work well for me. I use a Minc machine (it's a better laminator but it actually works better - I highly recommend it). I needed very rigid plastic sheets so I just ran an empty bag through the machine. I wanted them to be a little stiffer, so I slipped this laminated bag into a second bag and ran it through the machine again. It turned out perfect, like a solid, rigid, optically clear, solid plate. I also double laminated some small paper shapes using these bags. I use a trimmer to cut them to size and then use a hole punch to round the corners or just hand round the corners with scissors to finish the corners. These bags have helped me tremendously. At first I wasted them thinking I would only use them for one project, but now I've found many uses for them. I haven't tried them in any other laminators - I find the Minc heats up more and applies more pressure than standard laminators. Cheap laminators might not quite seal them, but you can't blame the pockets for that. If the machine is not designed to laminate 10mm pouches, it may not be able to seal them completely or the lamination may fall apart after processing. This does not mean that the bags are defective in any way.
