I am a soap maker. The mini cupcake molds were ok, they are flexible, smooth and easy to clean. A Silikomart mold with spiral detail was used to make soap. It is smooth on the inside, flexible enough for soap, and requires effort to release the formed soap from the mold. I used the base of my hand to push it out. I would recommend using sodium lactate in your recipe and waiting for the soap to really set before taking it out, and even freezing after the soap has set. I'd love to see a review from someone who uses it in baking because I'm curious if the baking pops up right away or if the details are harder to hold. I will use it again and I like details.
