Size not as expected

I really like these pants but I had to send them back and order a bigger size. I’m typically a medium but they were too small. Too tight in waist and thighs. I’m 5’5 and weigh 128 lbs. I’m hoping the large will fit better.

Pros

Great product with a true to size fit. Very nice flow to pants and very flattering

Cons

The pleats may make the pants look too old-fashioned

I am 5''6 170 and got a L. they fit good but the cut I dont love. They are to the bottom of my ankle and I wanted them shorter. I also have a big booty and the waist line doesn''t sit flat in back because of it. I do like the stretchy waist band tho and silky material. the legs do not stretch
