DEFECTIVE ON THIRD USE: Car detailing

Bought this 6 months ago but only used it 3 times. On the third use, the head fell off the handle. The handle is attached with thin plastic pins. See photo. When trying to reattach the handle, the pin punched a hole in the thin plastic head. See photo. I managed to reattach the head. It doesn't hold up well when soaked in water, which adds extra weight. No excessive force was used, only what was necessary to wash the car. This junk works better as a rag for hard-to-reach places.
