Revain's description says it's stainless steel but nowhere on the box does it say it and it looks like it. cheap chrome beads that are likely to rust long before anything is made of stainless steel. If that is the case I will try to come back here and update this review. We installed in April 2017 so I'm curious how long this will take. Also, we had some trouble keeping the plastic inner curtain on the hooks. The fabric on the outside stayed on the hook, but due to the rigidity of the plastic curtain, it sometimes slips off the hook when opening and closing. Update 07/06/2018: As feared, they started to rust after about ten months of soiling the curtains around the holes in contact with them. Will probably switch back to plastic as my wife just bought a new curtain to replace the stained one. I wouldn't buy them again.
