Say goodbye to broken plastic straws!

I prefer a straw with a 30oz travel mug because it's a lot easier to take a quick sip, especially while driving when I don't want to take my eyes off the road. I use recycled plastic straws from the sippy cups at the store, but after a while they bend, crack or break and need to be recycled. I've seen stainless steel straws before but was always skeptical because I live in Arizona where summer car temperatures can easily top 120 degrees or more. along with all objects contained within. The thought of my lips burning quickly from drinking just wasn't very appealing. When I saw these silicone tipped straws, I changed my mind. The silicone provides enough insulation that I don't have to worry about how hot the machine or straw is, and this family pack is enough to feed a family with a choice of straight or curved straws that are color coded so that no mixing is required Jokes or arguments about who is drinking whose drink. These straws are thinner than the ones I've used before, and sometimes they can get stuck in the thinner wings of the straw hole on my jar's plastic lid. So if I buy again I will probably choose a larger diameter. A trifle and, of course, does not affect the quality and value of this product. Final suggestion: When putting on silicone tips, leave about 1/8 inch past the end of the straw. So if you leave it in the car. , You will not accidentally touch the tip of the stainless steel straw with your tongue and risk burning yourself. Great product, well made and looking good for years to come.
