Unreliable Converters

Unfortunately the large M type adapter for South Africa didn't work when I got here. I tried this for my cellphone (with a voltage converter base) and it should have worked. I also tried different shops. Type G for UK and Type C worked fine. Overall they are made of lightweight plastic and feel "cheap". I was thrilled when I opened the box and saw how well they were all labeled, but was very disappointed that one of them didn't work. It's a big deal when you get somewhere and it happens. If I bought it again I would try my luck with a different set.
