I used this as a replacement for my 12” DeWalt 20v cordless chainsaw. The original blade had worn itself out. It might have had something to do with hitting several nails when I was chopping up an old fence I was tearing down. Lesson learned.It was a pretty simple changeout. Just remove the plastic cover, loosen the tensioner and pull the old blade off. The new blade fit right back on. Reverse the process and I was back in business. The blade was plenty sharp right out of the box.I know it’s not the most environmentally conscious stance, but it’s hard for me to justify trying to spend time sharpening the old blade when a new one can be had for a reasonably inexpensive price.
