Great way to showcase a large collection!

If you are good at level and building finder, this is the best way to present your CDs. I bought 12 of these to show off my 400 CD collection for $132. I screwed 2 1x2" oak boards to 2 studs in the wall and painted them to match the wall. Then it was just a matter of marking, drilling and screwing each tower into place - a little tedious but what's the weekend project? I completed the bottom row with one oak board shelf, left over from another project. and I like that I can read the titles without turning my head to the side. Of course, metal is a huge improvement over chipboard, which falls apart after a few years. In 30 years someone will buy our house and wonder what it was all for :-) When you are of a certain age, using CDs gives you a certain satisfaction and nostalgia. I'm playing through an Onkyo C-7030 (black) CD player. I've ripped all my CDs to Apple Lossless and use my iPod when I'm not at home, but I still prefer the CD player for serious listening. And some CDs have good synopses. After a certain age, using CDs brings with it a certain satisfaction and nostalgia. I'm playing through an Onkyo C-7030 (black) CD player.
