I think it technically does what it's supposed to do and cuts vegetables into thin strips, but it does the same thing with your fingers. The blade is razor sharp, making it very difficult to cut through a slippery, wet vegetable without injuring yourself. Unless you figure out how to cut vegetables without actually holding them in your hands. I've used it twice and both times I've cut my fingers a few times and I'm good with a kitchen knife. I just broke down and instead spent $20 on a cheap spiralizer. It's much easier to use. and it seems fun.
