Much better than paper straws
We try to limit the use of plastic straws to protect the environment, but I don't like paper straws. They get wet and dirty so easily! I use a reusable metal straw when I can, but these avoplastic straws are great if you don't want or can't use a metal straw. They last MUCH longer than paper straws. I washed one and used it for a few days and it held up. I think it's a good compromise if you want a disposable straw that isn't as bad for the environment as a plastic straw.
