This USB-C adapter primarily does what I want: connects to my laptop, connects to two HDMI monitors and shows three different screens. Dell's proprietary hub does this, but costs around $140. This little box does it well, it just doesn't charge the computer (you have to keep using the AC adapter). Now I can work remotely with email on the laptop screen and have two separate work screens for other tasks. Please note that your computer must be fully booted before the monitors will detect the signal. Also, you may need to go into your computer settings for your display and automatically detect/position it before it can be used properly. The only issue I've encountered is latency with USB driven items. For example, I connected my USB mouse and keyboard receiver and noticed lag when typing and moving the mouse. This persisted no matter what I did, so I had to plug them back into my laptop. I think they would be ok for USB related articles that don't require an immediate response. The block size is about 5 colored pencils. I almost thought I ordered the wrong item when I opened it, it's so small. It has a nice look and seems to be quite durable. If not required for a USB mouse/keyboard connection, I have no hesitation in recommending this product.
