Great pen replacement - keep the old screw.
Obviously these grips have gotten a lot longer since we bought Le Creuset in 1995. If you have an old fryer or other lidded pan that uses these handles (this stuff lasts forever), keep the old screw - the one that came with the new handle is too small to buy a new handle if you use it attach to the old lid. Despite this defect, this new pen works perfectly.
