The size is not the same.
I have attached a picture of the 4T shirt my daughter is wearing and under this shirt as you can see it is much larger and doesn't look like it , like she would fit in the next 2 years. It is also not suitable as a cute dress because the sleeves are too long. Besides being pretty useless right now, I'll keep it for the future anyway because it's pretty cute.
