I know it only fits laptops up to 13.3", but my Microsoft Surface Book is 13.5" and has a hard protective case. I do not use the case that came with this product. I take out and put in my MSB which comes in a hard case and it closes with no problem. The mouse hole is designed specifically for an Apple mouse, so my Microsoft mouse doesn't fit in that slot (I just keep it in one of the other compartments. The straps and clips are solid and I love them! I can barely feel the weight of the laptop!Highly recommended!I'm a student PA so I rely heavily on my laptop!
