I bought this router for my father who uses xfinity. I set it up for him and after a few months the ethernet ports on the back stopped working. At first I thought it was some kind of lightning strike that caused the surge that day. Thinking it wasn't the router's fault I brought my dad an uninterruptible power supply and routed all the power, coax and ethernet cables through and brought another Netgear C6220 with me. This 2nd router got SUPER hot from MINIMAL use by my dad who was only working on his laptop.
