Review on Stylish Smeg 2-Slice Toaster in Pink with Advanced Toasting Technology by Stephanie Adams

Bought pink and it's adorable. I really wanted yellow, but they don't make yellow!?!?! Looks great on my newly renovated kitchen countertop. Unfortunately, it doesn't toast the toast evenly. One side is much darker than the other. I contacted the supplier and they gave me two replacements, both did the same thing. Now they don't answer me. Before this expensive toaster I had a standard toaster for about 20 years. No frills, but the bread toasts evenly. I don't think asking for a $160 toaster is too much to ask! Very cute but not practical. It seems that the quality of SMEG has deteriorated.
