I have been using retainer Brite almost daily for over a decade. I liked the smell and the blue color cleared when the retainer was clean. The old packaging was also more attractive and easily recognizable. The new retainer Brite no longer smells like fresh mint. It has a really disgusting smell that makes you sick. The product description on Revain.com states that the new Retainer Brite "does not affect how Retainer Brite cleans, smells or tastes your dental technique". It is not true. If I were a lawyer, I would sue her for false advertising. Its smell will really piss you off. I would choose this brand and look for alternatives. I've been ordering a year's supply every year for over a decade, but have decided to look elsewhere to replace the retainer Brite. Very bad quality. I'm pretty sure this product isn't made in the USA as the perforating machine used for the 6 pill pack doesn't work. It amazes me that nobody at this company has checked the quality of the perforations. To be honest, I can live with the perforation problem, the strong chemical smell makes me sick.
