I attach it to an NB gas spring monitor arm and this combination works great on my 14 inch laptop. disturb the position of the laptop. I haven't measured or compared to the manufacturer's specs, but I can place the laptop at a fairly flat angle or more upright if I'd like. by itself, but the supplied rubber pads do a good job of preventing the laptop from slipping. There are two large cutouts for ventilation and all equipment is included. There is nothing more to say here than that I am satisfied with my purchase.
