When I first tried using these adapters I fiddled around for a while because I couldn't get a proper connection between the adapters and the coax wiring in my house could produce. I ended up creating a test script that showed that the existing coax cable hiding behind the walls had a few kinks that needed ironing out before I could successfully use it to extend my home's internet connection. Once I was able to eliminate this as the cause of my problems, these little devices became very easy to set up and operate. I've included a video that will walk you through the proper setup, connection, and finally connection of these devices. By following the instructions, I was able to establish a secure internet connection that delivered speeds similar to what I had when I connected directly to my router. A great way to use the existing coax wiring in your house or in my case find out if your house needs rewiring! A good product.
