The mounting pattern has no room for movement relative to the studs. This gives you exactly 16 inches, enough to span two posts, meaning you have to center it between the posts. If you want it to be centered somewhere else on the wall, you're out of luck. Once you've bought a part, the guide offers you the option to purchase an add-on that will allow you to move it. foosball? Add-on costs 70% of the original cost! very dubious, shoddy fake. If you want them, this might be the mount for you. But for the 99% of people whose builders didn't specifically design their studs to wall mount (because they do), you're paying someone else a little more for that extra amount of money. You can get a much better mount for the price of the mount combo and get an add-on that Mounting Dream sells.
