What I love about this dog jacket is how easy it is to put on! We have a toy bread chihuahua that can't stand still. This jacket has two velcro straps so you can easily put it on! I love the built in D ring to attach a leash to if needed. The red side has a pocket and D-ring, the black back has no pocket or ring. Our dog is only 3.5 pounds, chest 12 inches, length 11 inches. I have a size that had a 13.5 inch bust for her. It's not too loose and has room for a sweater (see last photo). I haven't tested the vest in the rain yet, I hope it's water-repellent.
