Read mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. As the ink came with the printer the color quality wasn't that great and I ignored this printer for a number of years as I couldn't even print in black and white when other color inks ran out. I recently had an urgent need for an inkjet printer and couldn't buy the printer I wanted because the demand for printers is high these days. I thought I'd try this printer again and ordered color cartridges. I had trouble printing initially, it was awful and even the test paper was very poor. After resetting and trying several times with my brother MFC-J460DW I finally got the right settings and the result was perfect. I even printed on letter size photo paper and the quality was amazing. With such a low ink price and great quality, I no longer worry about the color when printing. If the print quality was poor, please blame your printer settings, it is definitely not due to the quality of the GPC ink cartridges. It's a great feeling to be able to use my neglected printer for several years because of the poor quality and high price of Brother ink cartridges.
