Let me start by saying that the product works 8 times out of 10 for me. You have to turn the charger on and off, it can be a problem if you forget to turn off the charger (I personally didn't, but woke up at midnight to check). A simple USB connection would make this product great, but the only option is to hardwire the charger to the battery. I'm mechanically inclined and can plug in a charger, but if USB is already installed it might be plug and play. I would give this product a 3.5 for a cheap on/off switch that you need to find a place to attach and remember to turn it on and off. In addition, the lack of a USB port in our time is just sad!
