These bags are big enough but the problem is they don't have enough support on the sides. I found that on longer rides (300+ miles per day) they started to sag inward towards the supports and then around the supports. This problem is more common on hot days in Arizona. Although the side pockets are coated, it doesn't fully cover the actual pocket, so everything inside gets wet when it rains. You just have to plan ahead, that's all. For the money this is a good bag but I am planning on beefing up the handlebar supports that are normally used.
