This case works well for the Garmin edge 530. I think this combined with a screen protector will help in case of an accident or if the Garmin falls off a mountain. This makes the Garmin Edge 530's buttons a little harder to press. And due to Garmin's own design, it can rotate in the mount if you press a certain button too hard. For that reason, I don't usually use it unless I think the terrain could be a bit more sketchy or I'm more likely to fall. Your Garmin and throw it in a backpack or something, I could see it being even more useful.
