This is an attractive pepper mill that will perfectly adorn your living room table or spice cabinet. You unscrew the cap, exposing the top. Now you can fill the chamber with peppercorns, unscrew the lid and put the lid back on. Twisting the lid crushes the peppercorns and releases the pulp underneath. You can adjust the grind by adjusting the top cover. Freshly ground peppercorns are of course a wonderful spice. While it works, I found it to be a bit more work than other grinders I've used, so that's definitely a minus. It may not work properly.
