All I wanted was a nice basic black raincoat for summer travel but it was surprisingly hard to find. Most have a huge logo on the chest, or white mesh on the inside, or some weird flaps on the back, or are too heavy. Very glad I finally found this. This is a lightweight thin summer rain jacket. It folds up nice and small, I usually roll it in my bag and put everything in my bag. Barley weighs everything, so you can put it in a suitcase or take it with you. It sings a little in the forearms, but I can live with that. I bought it for the summer and I usually wear a short sleeve shirt underneath. It seems to handle the downpours I've been in pretty well, but I haven't been in a heavy downpour yet.
