Review on 🌡️ CDN Clip Thermometer: Accurate Temperature Gauge for Precision Cooking – 5-Inch, Silver by Amy Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great (but needs shaping)

The clip is exactly what the doctor ordered. It works great and is durable enough to hold my Taylor digital thermometer really well. I had to break one side of the essentially triangular clamp so the holes lined up properly and then the probe could be put through them - the holes are more than big enough and bending the clamp was easy and a minor modification. The other side of the triangle has also been slightly compressed for a tighter fit, preventing the thermometer from riding up the side of my Le Creuset Dutch Oven. After bending it again, the thing works great! THE PROBLEM IS THAT CHEF TOOLS CHARGES VERY HIGH FEES FOR THE SUPPLY OF THIS PRODUCT. THIS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED - THE SHIPPING COSTS ARE HIGH QUALITY! Astronomic! The clip costs well, but shipping should be - MAXIMUM - a few bucks. Chef Tools - I originally wrote Chef Trolls - takes advantage of the fact that many brands of digital thermometers don't include a clamp. It's cheaper than buying a new clip-on thermometer to buy this thing, but NOT MUCH BETTER FOR THE PRICE. Chef Tools knows they have more from us than we do AND TAKE GREAT ADVANTAGES FROM AMAZON CUSTOMERS! SHAME ON YOU BOSS TOOLS! YOUR ENTIRE BUSINESS DESERVES TO BE A SQAP! AND YOU KNOW I'M RIGHT! BAD, GREEDY, HARD, Spank, Spank, Spank!
