Good pouches, bad clips

UPDATE 08/06/21: After a little over a month I've decided these pouches aren't worth buying. In addition to the problem with the cheap clip, I found that the loop that the clip attaches to is already half worn out. Also, the small parts I keep in this case tend to unzip (actually it should unzip from the other end) and cause the hardware to fall out at the wrong moment - I've tried using the S-Clip on the end to install the zipper. to stop it, but it just sort of works. Those weren't the issues I had with my old bag. This case is fine and would probably be fine for a less demanding application, but it's no good for me. For context, I'm installing residential solar panels and have what looks like the average case from this set strapped to my shoulder. Seat belts stocked with bits and pieces and tools to help me get out of a jam when I'm on the roof and suddenly need an extra optical screw, S-clip or something. Solves many problems and wastes time climbing stairs. I had a surprisingly hard time finding the right type of pouch to replace my worn one, but these fit the bill - almost. style for my needs. They're inexpensive too. However, I'm not happy that the corner clip is a crappy little plastic thing that I know from experience is going to fail any time soon. It's a pretty useless piece, more of a vague move towards the clip than a real clip that you can rely on to attach your bag to your belongings. I took it off and replaced it with a mini carabiner that was in my old worn out bag, which still works great despite the roof's extensive abuse. than pennies to the cost of the product, and it would have been far more effective than that hopeless little piece of plastic that CLC thought was good enough to tick the 'has a clip' box. The rest of the bags seem good.
