These shoes are true to size and my daughter loves them. She loves wearing them, they are comfortable and don't cause blisters. She says she feels like a Greek goddess and that it makes her run faster and jump higher. However, there are a few minuses. The button that turns the light on and off is awkwardly positioned between the upper ankle and one of the wings. That means it's very easy to accidentally turn on the light while walking, tie your shoelaces, put your shoes on, or even pick up your shoes to put them away. The lights are also incorrectly linked to one of the shoes, so when they flash, each shoe flashes differently. Also, the lights are always blinking when they are on and they are red and blue. and very bright. It's not very good if they accidentally turn on in the vehicle as they are very similar to car emergency lights. The backlight is only on one side of the sole of the shoe, it does not cover the entire surface. Shoes are also part of dressing. They have elastic laces which are actually more difficult to use than regular laces (they are too short). You have to unlace the top of the boot to put it on and lace it back up once it's on your foot. The laces have to go through the fenders and boot, which is actually quite difficult. There is no loop on the tongue of the boot (to keep the laces in place) so it tends to fall inside the boot, and there is no loop at the back of the boot to hold them while you put the shoes on. on the. The soles are foam rubber, they are quite comfortable and shock-absorbing, but they do not wear well, do not last long and do not provide good traction. Doesn't stain the floor which is a plus.
