I used this patch on my sofa cushion because it was starting to fray from wear and tear. I put this patch on the bottom. I opened up the sofa cushion cover and cut out a patch of the desired size for different places. It worked great. I know the product description says it was used in an outdoor renovation, but my couch has a floral pattern so I put a patch on the underside. As I saw, how well it works, I ordered 2 more and attached them in the same way where I felt the fabric was fraying on my sofa. I would recommend this patch as it is strong and durable.
