Review on 🧀 ZYLISS Dial & Slice Cheese Slicer: Effortlessly Perfect Slices Every Time! by Nicole Nelson

I have used Zyliss products in the past and they have always been of high quality, this slicer is no exception. Initially, the slices were thicker in the middle and thinner on the sides because the blade was slightly curved (see image). The blade of a cheese knife should be very thin to reduce friction so the knife can be easily pulled through trees without breaking. It was easy to fix. I wrapped sports tape around the tip of my thumb so I wouldn't cut myself if I slipped. Then I gently pressed the blade in the middle and watched what happened. I moved slowly and it took 15 or 20 gentle strokes to smooth the blade, but now the slices are even in thickness. Great little product that does a great job but you may have to take a few minutes to get the blade straight. Worth it. Highly recommended.
