The cables appear to work well when I connected them to a monitor for testing. The problem is that the locking mechanism and latch are too tight to unlock. When the DisplayPort cable is connected to the monitor vertically, you don't have room to grip on either side, allowing you to apply the gigantic pressure required to unlock the mechanism. You should have placed the latch on the sides, not the top/bottom. At this speed, I'm concerned that this cable will damage the connectors on my graphics card or monitor. Edit: It didn't damage my monitor, but I still stand by what I said about the bad locking mechanism, so instead of subtracting 2 or 3 stars, I'll just subtract 1.
