I use this product for eye make-up removal, toner application and other light applications. They are just fine. I still find I need to use disposable cotton pads if I want to effectively cleanse my skin. Several serious problems as evidenced by my photos. In photo #1 brand new, unwashed cartridges. Photo #2 shows my eye makeup soiling my pads. It was washed right after and it's still stained. I don't use waterproof makeup either. Also, I use a lot more product on them than I do on disposable cotton swabs. On a cotton ball, I might just need a squirt to apply toner to my face. But with these reusable products, I have to reapply a few times as the toner gets fully absorbed and then dries out. It's the same with eye makeup remover - because it dries so quickly, the makeup doesn't come off effectively and I have to rub or add more remover to the pad. You waste a lot of liquid if you're not careful. On a cotton swab I could just put a few drops of liquid on the pad and get to work. Liquid literally drips on them and spills them everywhere. I have to grasp my hand and gently drain so the pad picks it up first. Photo #3 shows how they looked after washing and drying, exactly as advertised on the product. Circles get lost and take a crazy shape. This makes it really difficult and cumbersome to use effectively. Still hoping that maybe I can find a better brand of reusable pads. They may be better suited for purposes other than facials. It can only be this brand.
