I love all Sure Fit covers. First thing I do is unpack it and put it on the couch to make sure it fits. If you like it, and it fits and complements the rest of the room, I take it off, WASH it, DRY it and put it back on. This is the only way I know of to smooth out the wrinkles and you really should be doing it. Don't be intimidated by the creases when you first unpack. Don't wash it first, "try it on first" and then wash it. (My wife dictates this to me since she's the "home decorator" in our house!) Obviously lighter colors get dirtier, but that's what they're "covers" for - they're easy to remove, wash, dry and clean. put it back on within a few hours.
