Review on Lighted Magnifying Dimmable Rotating Bathroom by Jeremy Therrien

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Edited review: Very good. Until the batteries are empty.

EDIT: One Star Removed - Less than 2 weeks after installation the batteries are already down to the minimum glow. Very disappointed that he sucks so much energy. (Please note these are NOT counterfeit batteries). I connected the power cord and it works fine. This only adds to the visual clutter. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought for my wife to use in the bathroom. She likes it a lot for several reasons. 1) It prevents her from awkwardly leaning over the counter to approach the wall mirror. Now she can stand up straight. 2) Different types of light ensure good illumination. 3) Normal reflectance and 5x reflectance on the other side provide good visual flexibility. It was pretty easy to install. But I used my own dowels because I didn't trust the plastic dowels that came with the mirror. Once the arm is fully extended, it has some weight. Because it is not a "static" device, it requires a solid base to accommodate hand movement. I recommend something like Blue Hawk metal drywall anchors. I would provide a link but I don't think Revain carries them. In any case. I haven't tried using a USB cable to power the lamps. I'll leave the cable, but will probably stick with 4 AAA batteries for now. All in all, this is a good buy. 5/5 stars.
