Works as it should. It's on the dashboard of my car. I was a bit hesitant because I didn't want any glue marks on the dashboard if I had to remove them. It has suction power as well as a silicone backing that works the same as it does on your windshield. The surface must be smooth for good adhesion. It was great when first installed, but I wanted to change the position so I could see my phone better. It took a little work. There is a burr on the silicone to release the handle after the suction stop. You have to pull the tab, but after a bit of work on my part - okay - a lot of work on my part - the silicone eventually broke. Clean and clear, no sticky residue left on the dashboard, now I know I can easily take it off and use it in another car. The rotating head is great and the extra magnetic tabs are a bonus because if you switch caps like I do you can put one on each cap. There are also silicone pads that you attach to your phone before placing the magnets on it to make it easier to remove when you switch phones. In general I am very satisfied, I also have one on the counter at home! Works perfectly.
