This WiFi6 router has been replaced with my old WiFi5 router. The initial setup was very easy. I installed it with my iPhone in less than 10 minutes1. Connect the power cord and Ethernet cable from the modem.2. Turn on the device and wait 10 to 20 seconds until the LED turns green.3. Find the WiFi SSID ECPN-5G and connect. No password required for the first time.4. Open any browser and go to router.ecpn.com5. Follow three easy steps to set up WiFi password and web management app password (one to log in to router.ecpn.com to later manage router settings).6. Reconnect to the ECPN-5g Wi-Fi with the password you just set in step 5 and you're done. WiFi 5G Speed Test: My internet plan is 100Mbps download and 10Mbps upload, which is way below the limit of this router. But I can test and compare the speed in different places. I installed the router on the first floor and then moved it to the second floor. The test device is my iPhone 12 Pro, which uses a measurement lab website to monitor speed. Here are my results (see photos for details). My internet plan: 100 Mbit/s download, 10 Mbit/s download1. One wall and 15 feet away from the router: No noticeable slowdown2. A wall and 50 feet from a backyard router: Less than 10%3 slowdown. Below, just below the router: There is no noticeable slowdown4. Three-Four-Walls: ~35% slowdown on loading Overall, I'm happy with the ease of setup and speed.
