Flawless top needles. I love these needles because they are medium sharp general purpose needles. If you could only choose one knitting kit, I would recommend this one. They are good at everything from lace to braiding. The cones on it are very long and slightly concave, making it easier to hold the stitches. They also have a degree of "grip" for stainless steel needles, which I think is better for more technical knitting. The best thing about these needles is the heavy duty red cord that comes with each set; These cords are flexible and have absolutely no memory (they won't try to curl up on you)! Buy them, they are worth the price.
