This hair dryer and airbrush work really well on my fine hair. I have very fine hair, but it's a lot and takes forever to blow dry or style. The ionic function increases drying time and reduces frizz. I would recommend using it on your hair with some sort of heat protectant spray/cream/gel as the ionic heat it emits can also dry out quickly and damage your hair if you don't. I've been using this type of styler for over 10 years now and no matter what the innovation, I always fall back on it. Except that someone will make a full smack for you; it's the next best thing. No need to stand and pull at your hair with a round brush, and the ionic function really cuts styling time. It creates big curls with a large barrel and I use a smaller barrel with shorter hair or when I want to do more of the spiral curl effect. I've even used it after smoothing to create more body along the top of my head and create waves when I don't want the bone to be straight. Overall very happy with the purchase. It is also very portable as it can be disassembled and you can easily pack it in your suitcase or bag.
