These are great sandals, my daughter loves them, we only resize them every year or two when she needs a new size. My daughter has very narrow feet, these sandals have adjustable straps throughout, including behind the heel/ankle which not all sandals have, as well as across the toes and across the top of the foot just before the ankle. The only downside is they don't come in half sizes - my daughter's previous pair is already small and this one is a bit large. However, since they are adjustable, they still stay on their legs, so they still work. When in doubt, order true to size, but round up if your child is between whole sizes.
