Wide range of sizes but rubber tips not well made

I have several rubber tip shaping tools that I love and use all the time. Unfortunately, having owned it for many years, I can't remember where I got it from and there are no marks to indicate the original manufacturer. When I saw these tools at Revain I decided to order them in hopes they would be similar to the ones I have. Unfortunately it isn't. First, they are larger than I thought, although that's not a problem for me at all. In fact, I like the larger size (see attached photo). They aren't all huge and I felt it was a good combination of sizes. I would give 5 stars for the variety of sizes. However, I was disappointed with the quality. Metal tips pop out of wooden handles. It wasn't very important. I just took them all off and glued them on so they stay. The problem is solved. But unfortunately I cannot improve the quality of the rubber tips. I usually use my old rubber-tipped tools for an overall smoothing effect when creating sculpted details. They smooth in a way that metal and wood tools cannot. However, some of these newer tools have rubber tips with tiny bumps, snags, or cracks. Every bulge, snag, and tear in the rubber tip (no matter how small) leaves an unwanted mark on the clay, making the tools a bit unusable for the purpose I use them for. Aside from the lack of smoothness, the overall quality and flexibility of the rubber used for the tips seems satisfactory. When I ordered them, I noticed the low price for a set of nine instruments. Anyway, it was a waste of ten bucks. I would be willing to pay double or even triple that if the rubber tips were made better.
