Shoes for boys are generally better than women. But not this time. Unfortunately, the brown parts on the sneaker are made of cheap, smooth plastic. Also, one of the fingers was crushed and I hope I can fix it. I expected a lot more from Ralphy. Update: September 2020 was unable to fix a bruised toe on either shoe. When it gets hot, the skin sticks to the plastic. The sole is amazing, better than sperry adult tennis shoes. Much firmer and more supportive. They became water/backyard shoes.
